Our research work and gathering of material on this in-depth documentary commenced 19 years ago in 2007. It has been a very long and slow road to completion. However it has been worth every minute of this long journey. It has been our aim to showcase in a complete career video all the footage of Serge and his amazing career. Serge had a look and an elegant style that changed the course of bodybuilding forever. Nobody has ever come close to having a physique like SERGE NUBRET. He was one of a kind.

His international career commenced with the 1963 NABBA Universe where he jumped straight into the Pro Division placing 2nd in the tall class. His first major victory was winning the Tall class of the IFBB Mr Europe in Essen in 1970. I filmed that contest.

Probably the highest point of Serge’s career was placing second behind Arnold Schwarzenegger at the 1975 Mr Olympia in South Africa.

Serge competed in various Federations throughout his long career, winning the NABBA Pro Mr Universe in 1976, then Mr Olympus, Pro Mr World and finally in his last contest, he won the 1983 WABBA Professional title.
